Hometown Mobile Veterinary Practice, PLLC affectionately referred to as “Hometown MVP,” is a full service, mobile, small animal veterinary practice based in the foothills of the Adirondack mountains. Founded by Dr. Lisa Hindson, a lifelong resident of Queensbury, NY, Hometown MVP is pleased to offer a unique alternative to the traditional veterinary care experience for cats and dogs in the greater Glens Falls region and surrounding communities. Our custom designed vehicle is a fully equipped, state-of-the-art veterinary hospital on wheels, designed to deliver everything from wellness visits and vaccine programs, to digital x-rays, dentistry, and routine surgical procedures right to our client’s front door.

 

Mindful of the many challenges that pet owners face in today’s busy world, Dr. Lisa hopes that by bringing vet services to her clients, she can make their lives just a little bit easier. Our convenient in-home services allow our clients to avoid some of the frustrations typically associated with taking their pet to the veterinarian, such as: taking valuable time off work for one or multiple pet visits; finding childcare for young children; struggling with reluctant or frightened dogs or cats; when a beloved pet is too sick or uncomfortable to make the trip.

Vaccination

We offer a wide range of vaccines and wellness services for both cats and dogs of all ages.

Laboratory Services

We have a complete laboratory where we can analyze blood, urine, skin, feces and other specimens.

Imaging

We can take digital x-rays to assist with diagnosing diseases and/or evaluating injuries.

Surgery

We have state-of-the art anesthesia and monitoring for routine surgical or anesthetic procedures.

Please be aware that during certain times we may be limited in the number of NEW CLIENTS that we are able to accept. While we do not enjoy turning away new clients and their pets, certain factors can limit our ability to accept new clients, such as; the number of pre-booked appointments already on our schedule, the nature or severity of your pet’s needs and the distance we must travel to your home or residence.
